The July meeting was held today at Bobbye Kee's home, and we had A BLAST!!! In attendance was Sandy Leal, Linda DuFrene and her grand daughter Mattie, Diane Zammitto, Barbara Sines and Mary Ashcraft. I don't know where the rest of you were, but you missed a really good time! Bobbye made her famous tuna salad, yummy bread, lemonade, iced tea, etc., and others brought lots of yummy stuff.

Bobbye had purchased a DVD titled Gourd Sculpting by Melynda Lotzen. You just wouldn't believe how she "cuts and pastes" the gourds to create the creatures she makes. We were all inspired. Everyone had something to show except Diane, who is saving herself for after Enchanted Doll Artists Conference in Albuquerque the end of this month. The photos are the beginnings of our various projects and I look forward to seeing lots of completed projects soon!

The meeting next month is in Boulder City at the library, where Lynn will teach us bead netting. Then we will go for lunch, and to spend, spend, spend at Goat Feathers. Hope to see all of you then! (Except for Jeri, who has too far to drive)
