These are Jean Bernard Photos for our inspiration!












































The below correspondence was sent out by Sandy from Jean and is for all the members who will be taking Jean's class this month. Please read carefully, but try to overlook my typos! Mary
Above are the photos from Jean Bernard. We will be making a chair and a pincushion. Jean will supply: press molds and a variety of paints. If you have a particular press mold or paint color in mind, by all means bring them with you. Inks, tins for pin cushion, glitter, micro marbles, nuggets, swarovski crystals, DG3 Art Gel, wires, tubing, glue and a whole lot more!
Here is your list of items to bring with you. Remember! this is your class project. Bring anything you would like to make this your personalized one of a kind art piece. The above pictures are for your inspiration.
NOTE; Please remove all rings, bracelets and watches before class. If you can't remove rings, bring Band-Aids to cover the item(s). I will supply surgical gloves as well.
chair:
1 lb. Aves Apoxie Sculpt White. If you have the apoxie bring it with you. If you do not have, you may purchase from me during class.
Optional but helpful: 8" or larger Lazy Susan
Wear Old Clothing - we will get messy
Terry cloth rags or towel (something you can throw away after class)
Package Delight Air Dry Clay - white (You can find it at Michael's)
Small plastic container to hold water
Paintbrushes - various widths from liner to 1". Do not bring your good brushes.
Scissors - Do not bring your good sewing scissors.
Bring embellishments - body parts, gems, buttons, twigs, beads, flatbacks, trims, glass or acrylic eyes, ribbons. Anything goes!
Pincushion
A small amount of Apoxie Sculpt
Pressmold
Delight Air Dry Clay
Small amount of batting
Straight Pins to embellish
Lightweight fabric. Small amount to cover the batting
Scissors
Embellishments - body parts, gems, buttons, beads, feathers, trims, anything goes.
